I first heard about Hunt the Wumpus in Russell and Norvig's Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach. (The textbook being the only exciting and interesting thing about my devastatingly dissapointing "Intro to AI" class back in college). The Wumpus game described in that book uses a NxM cartesian grid. When I actually looked into the origins of the game, I found that it was played on a squashed dodecahedron because the creator found grid-based games boring. I am trying to think about how I could tell a less interesting story. I wrote a pretty fun wumpus game on my TI-81 in college. I also wrote a perfect recreation of Langton's Ant. I am sad that these programs got erased before I had a chance to transcribe them somewhere.

It has come to my attention that this website does not look exactly right on Internet Explorer. It's not my fault IE still doesn't support modern CSS. I am slightly more concerned that it doesn't seem to look right on Safari. Maybe I'll see what that's all about.

Voting on TWC and WCL will not go unrewarded!
