I'm actually reading a copy of the Necronomicon right now. It's a lot like the Golden Dawn stuff, except it uses the Sumerian pantheon instead of a Hebrew pantheon viewed through a Greek lens, if you're into that stuff.

This is definitely the kind of stuff that was the mythology behind Ghostbusters. For instance, "Xul" (the terror dog that possesses Dana) is actually the Sumerian word for "Evil". Which is why "Zuul" is the God of the Warlocks in Nerdcore.

Bah, I had to post a review of the thing on Amazon because the people arguing whether it was real or a hoax were completly missing the purpose of the book. I don't even really like Amazon. Mainly because they let people review books on the internet, and the reviews turn into arguments (especially when it comes to political books) That's also why I don't really read Slashdot.

Hmmm. I wonder how the Technomancer is doing?
