This Comic of course refers to the fact that LeVar Burton was on Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as Reading Rainbow. Not that I didn't think you got it. I was just saying. I'm not trying to insult your intelligence or anything.
Anyway, I always really wanted Geordi LaForge to say "You don't have to take my word for it." on TNG, just once.
The animated background here comes from a video game that I was making sprites for. I was supposed to get paid, but I didn't, so I'm using them for myself now. Take that sub-space!
For those of you on a slow connection, (like I am) I apologize. The background gif is compressed, so only the first frame should take a while to load. It ended up being a 256 color palate when I only really needed 128, but I didn't have the same palate for each frame, so the animation program had to add colors. C'est l'animation!
