September 6, 2004 Vote for Pirate Jesus on TWC and get a new Pirate Mary Magdalene Wallpaper. Then Vote on Buzz Comix and get a wallpaper that I thought I lost but luckily I didn't, but I did lose the original photoshop file for so I can't really alter it. Also, I hope you liked Friday's Nerdcore. There'll be a new one next Friday. Okay. So... How are you? Good. The first five Pirate Jesus panels came to me in a dream. They were divinely inspired and will one day be added to the back of the Bible (hopefully in a nice four-color format like those non-sacred comics use). But after divine inspiration, what do you do next? Obviously you ask God to help deliver the rest of the message. So I prayed. Just a couple of hours a week at first, but soon I was praying for eight straight hours a week before the new comic was delivered. And that was just for the script! Do you know how hard automatic writing is? Try automatic cartooning! Nowadays my week consists of fasting from Tuesday to Friday, Praying 40 hours a week, and self-flagellation on the weekend. Then the comic comes to me at about 6pm Sunday night, giving my six hours to draw, scan, trace, color, add special effects, format, and update the website. Needless to say, this has taken up a lot of my free time. I had to quit my job designing sarcastic robots to concentrate on fulfilling God's divine will. It's a good thing I'm fasting so much, because I can't really afford groceries, but I gotta pay utilities and rent. I guess what I'm saying is; Would it kill you to buy a T-Shirt?
