I was a Computer Science major in college, so robots speaking in command line commands and function calls is funny to me. The speak("filename.txt"); thing comes from my experience using Microsoft's SAPI library to do speech-syth. You actually had to write text out to a file and then read the file back in to the program to speak it! The joke here is that Robot Jesus was programmed using some pretty poor techniques. wormwoodMissile is an object defined in revelations.t.  I mean, its a reference to the Book of Revelations. Oh yeah, and Superbook was a cartoon I used to watch. It was on a religious channel and it featured a magic, floating, talking bible that transported a brother and sister and their robot friend back in time to meet Jesus. In the world of Pirate Jesus, Superbook is the name of Robot Jesus' Computer Bible.

I guess this week we have What Would Robot Jesus Do? I'm sure the site will be back to normal by next week.

This week's voting incentive is the sketch I did as the original design of Robot Jesus.
