March 8, 2004 I never saw more than a few clips of the old Astroboy cartoon when I was a kid. But the image of a robot boy with rockets for feet never left me. Especially after playing all of the Megaman games. Robot Jesus went through a pretty drastic change from his original design. He used to be much more angular and machine-like. Then I realised that it would by much better to make him more humanoid. And so this bizare love-chiild of Astroboy, Megaman, and Jesus was born. That halo and those jets are harder to do than they look. Robot Jesus's font is called "Asimov". I modified a 'T' to make the cross. Also Robot Jesus is 50% shinier than any other Jesus. There's a new What Would Pirate Jesus Do? Read it if for no other reason than to learn the Hebrew word for "Pirate". Keep sending in those smart-ass questions to This week's voting incentive is a cure for last week's nightmare fuel. You like spherical monkeys, right? |
