Spread the gospel
of Pirate Jesus!

Yar! He be near. I can feel it in me bones. The cold-hearted, eel-sucking abomination. I've tracked him across these seas for two hundred years. Two hundred years, with nothing but the memory of his cold dead eyes. Pierced right through me soul, they did. Right through and on to the other side. But tonight. Tonight finally be the night. We will do battle, here on me own ship, and this time he'll not escape defeat. This time I be ready, and in the end, there can be only one... ...and 'twill be me!

Welcome to Pirate Jesus! An epic tale of the adventures of Pirate Jesus and his pirate disciples. I have spent years translating the dead sea scrolls in order to present you with this newest and most accurate description of the life of Jesus.
For the sake of total accuracy, this tale will be told in God's most holy of media: the comic strip.

This first panel was meant as a teaser before anyone knew the name of the comic. I was drawing this comic for my friends, who, like all good people, love pirates. The payoff comes in the next panel when I announce the title of the comic. Unfortunately that's a little hard to do for everyone. So just try and pretend you don't know what's going to happen. Also, don't read the characters page until you've caught up with the comic. It may contain spoilers. It also contains a few jokes that never fit into the comic, so be sure to look at it every so often as I introduce new characters.

There are seven panels up here for the first week of Pirate Jesus. This will give new readers a taste of things to come, and still leave me quite a head start on material. I plan on updating this comic one panel at a time, every Sunday at midnight, but I may increase my update schedule if it becomes possible.

I hope the navigation of this site isn't too complicated. The navbar under the comic is using nautical terms. Get it? It's about pirates! Pirates sail in the ocean! On a ship! Anyway there are little arrows on the rum bottles and the tooltips will tell you what the images link to. You'll figure it out.
